Goodrich and Castle
Goodrich village is home to a magnificent mediaeval castle the castle a marcher stronghold is very well preserved and there are great views from the battlements, during summer months there are activities for the children.
In the centre of the castle is roaring meg a mortar used in the English Civil war. The castle is a short walk but pleasant walk from the car park and shop, which is administered by English heritage there is also a café.
