Wickhambreaux
Art Nouveau Church Glass
This small village in Canterbury on the banks of the lesser Stour has a couple of buildings Of note, but the church of St Andrew is perhaps of most interest. It has a large stained-glass window in the East. Designed by Arild Rosenkrantz.
This large piece of art nouveau work is a rare example of American artistry and craftsmanship in an English church. The window was donated by count James Gallantin of New York.
