Barmouth on the coast of wales on Cardigan Bay is a popular seaside resort it, Hs a blue flag beach and all the traditional trappings of a seaside holiday town.

The town is very busy in the summer months with holidaymakers from the west midlands of England who come to enjoy the beach, amusements, fish and chips, and all the usual seaside razzmatazz. The town has more to offer than just the seaside glitz there is amazing scenery, the Rhinogydd range has some of the finest mountain scenery in wales, the beautiful Mawdach estuary is also a great place to explore.

Barmouth has a maze if stairs and alleyways that leads from the high street to Hen Bermo the old town, eventually you will arrive at Dinas Oleu the first ever national trust property.

The view of the sea and bay is beautiful William Wordsworth described the view as sublime and equal to any in Scotland, out of season the place reverts to a slower pace, the estuary has a wooden rail viaduct across the only surviving one in wales, the town makes a good base for walkers exploring the coast or inland.
