The Pembroke Newport is completely different to the industrial town of the same name; it is an attractive group of picturesque cottages set below a Norman castle. Located on the side of Mynydd Carningli.
This quaint town is an ideal base for walking the coastal path or the Preseli hills. The town has a small beach, Parog beach while across the river is the larger Newport sands
In the town centre is the famous dolmen, which looks to be held up by four stones it is only when you get up close that you can see that miraculously it is held by only two.
