East Neuk village’s Fife
East Neuk village’s Fife
Described as a fringe of gold by James II this stretch of coastline is most attractive running from St Andrews to the point of fife, the word Neuk means corner.
The area is dotted with little fishing villages, there are great walks in the area, and some great places to eat along the way. The villages are strung out like pearls on a necklace places like Elie, St Monans, Pittenween and Crail which in particular is very charming, the fife coastal path’s best scenery is in this area.
