The pretty town of Killin lies at the southern end of beautiful Loch Tay, approaching the town by road from the south the picturesque falls of Dochart come into view at the side of the road next to the bridge. They are usually full of people taking pictures, exploring or picnicking. As you drive past and over the bridge, the Loch Slowly comes into view.
Killin has plenty of shops to explore and pubs to stop and rest in; the place seems to unfold in stages on both sides of the bridge. Killin is a great base for exploring Loch Tay the mountains and Glens nearby.
