Finlaggan once home to the Lords of the Isles
The village of Finlaggan was once a very important place in the Hebrides, it was home to the powerful Lords of the Isles and clan Donald.
Finlaggan lies in a beautiful setting surrounded by lovely meadows, complete with a ruined castle and houses. The site is archeologically very important the history of the place can be discovered in the visitor centre.
