The Peel Museum
Police Museum and Peel Society
The Society has now established the Peel Museum at Middleton Hall on the outskirts of Tamworth, one mile from Drayton Manor the former Peel family home. The Museum first opened in 2004 and is now located in a larger room, which contains 14 display cases showing hundreds of Police and Peel items, supported by two large Murals, which together with other panels tell the stories of both the early Police and the Peel Family. In 2018, the Museum had a major upgrade with the help of the HLF and work continues on the displays and interpretations.
Entrance to the Peel Museum is FREE, but a small donation is appreciated to help us cover the rent, however Middleton Hall have an entrance fee
