This region is bustling with shops and hosts all sorts of events. Mould has a famous Food & Drink Festival and Llangollen is world famous for the international Eisteddfod.

For those into seaside towns Rhyl has a long tradition as a British seaside resort. Walkers are also catered for with the Clwydian range as well as the Dee Valley, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

This part of Wales also has a heritage site in the Pontcysyllte aqueduct and canal; there is also the Offa’s Dyke Path which runs from the coast through to Chirk and onwards.
