A day trip to Cirencester would not be complete without a visit to one of the country’s finest Roman museums. Situated in the centre of Cirencester the capital, of the Cotswolds the museum has some of the most significant finds from the Roman city of Corinium Dobunnorum.
The spacious galleries display thousands of artefacts from prehistoric to Anglo Saxon objects. The museum is also a centre of learning with changing exhibitions as well as events and activities for all ages.
