No matter how many times you visit this lovely town its picture postcard setting is always guaranteed to lift your spirits as you admire the scene, tiled roof buildings, clustered round a vivid blue sea.

The town was once a busy pilchard harbour now it is something of an arts centre, the cobbled streets are great to explore but it can get crowded despite this the place is undoubtedly a charming place to visit.

Other attractions include

Tate St Ives this features work of the St Ives School as well as some works by the local Lad Arthur Wallis.

Barbara Hepworth museum one of the leading abstract sculptors of the 20th century her works can be seen not only in the studio museum but also in the town and surrounding area.

Beaches include Portmeor, Porthminster, as well as the less crowded Portgwidden.
