This timeless town on the Norfolk coast was once an important port in the 16th and 17th centuries now it is a tourist hotspot in season. This attractive place has lots of appeal with lovely old Georgian houses and the characteristic flint and stone cottages clustered around a green, as well as an assortment of shops lining the high street.

There is a great stretch of sandy beach and adjacent pine woods , to help you explore there is a narrow gauge railway the world’s longest , climb aboard to visit little Walsingham an important place of pilgrimage and home to a very atmospheric ruined abbey as well as the shrine to the lady of Walsingham. The 45 minute journey is most scenic.
