The lovely village of Tissington in the Derbyshire Dales is part of the estate of Tissington hall the place is very popular and a major tourist attraction due to its Well Dressing Week. Every year during the week of ascension, Sunday six wells are dressed each year by the children with flower mosaics and pictures these are formed from pressing flower petals and other items into a clay base.
These beautiful creations are all based on the bible and a religious theme, nearby is the famous Tissington trail .
